Former inmate from Bremerton gets prestigious legal fellowship

Simmons is the first Seattle University Law student, not to mention the first formerly incarcerated person, to receive the fellowship for people wanting to practice public interest law. She joins 29 other law students, many of them at the top-ranked law schools in the country, including Harvard, Yale and Stanford.
