Turina James is a Bookkeeper and Program Assistant, as well as a former Board Member of PDA (serving from 2016-2018). During her time as a Board Member, she volunteered at PDA in 2016 and completed an internship in 2017. Turina comes to PDA with lived experience as an alumna of the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program. She currently serves on several work groups and committees with the King County Familiar Faces Initiative, which addresses the health needs of those who are frequently involved in the criminal justice system, and was an original member of VOCAL-WA (Voices of Community Activists and Leaders).
Turina brings over ten years of experience with her in property management. She is bilingual in Spanish/English and is actively working on continuing her education. Outside of work, Turina enjoys spending time with her granddaughter.
