Tracy Gillespie is a LEAD Project Manager for the Seattle Police Department’s East and North precincts. Her current role provides operational support, project design, community liaise, resource advocacy, and facilitation between the LEAD partners. Prior to joining the Public Defender Association, Tracy worked in social services for over 12 years. Locally, she served as a clinical case manager for street-involved youth at the City of Seattle’s PRO Youth program, sexually exploited youth at the King County Juvenile Detention, and adults with mental illness who are exiting prison after a violent conviction through Washington State and Department of Correction’s Offender Reentry and Community Safety program. She also served as a LEAD Case Manager and Outreach Coordinator before joining the project management team.
Outside of Tracy's passion for criminal justice reform and holistic social service interventions, she is also involved in intersectional feminist movements and advocacy. Tracy is a graduate of Ohio State University with a B.A. in Music, and Seattle University with a M.A. in Criminal Justice.
