Christa Nemeth is the Operations Manager at the Public Defender Association. Christa brings over 10 years of administrative experience with her from a variety of local and non-local institutions, such as: the University of Utah Medical Center, the Port of Seattle, the University of Washington School of Medicine (UWSOM), and Harborview Medical Center (HMC). Her previous work at UWSOM included advocacy for the Network of Underrepresented Faculty (NURF) and at HMC included supporting the Transformation of Care Unit pilot project and serving some of Seattle's most vulnerable patient population.
Christa has been a long time community supporter of Safe Consumption Spaces, overdose prevention, and overall harm reduction practices. Her objective at PDA is to do meaningful work using her extensive professional experience and keen ability to perform with dedication, professionalism, and kindness. Christa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Utah.
